Explore Monroe County

Performing Arts    
In Monroe County you will find two Performing Arts facilities. The new state-of-the-art La-Z-Boy Center Meyer Theater and the River Raisin Centre for the Arts. At either venue you will see and hear theatrical groups, comedy, music and so much more. 

Things To Do
There are a number of reasons to visit Monroe County. Lake Erie for fishing and boating, many historic sites to explore, golf courses, museums, festivals through the summer. Come and discover the charm of our cities and many natural resources in our region for outdoor play. 

Monroe County Parks        
Our County Parks are open from April through October. Hike, have a summer picnic, launch a canoe, or slide down a super slide. Visit the River Raisin National Battlefield and learn about the War of 1812 and Sterling State Park, the only state park on Lake Erie, an excellent place to relax on a summer day.
