Detroit Zoo
Features 125 acres of naturalistic exhibits with 1300 mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates of 250 different species. The Detroit Zoo was the first in the United States to use open natural exhibits. The Arctic Ring of Life exhibit takes visitors on a trek to the North Pole. Guests will experience the tundra, open sea and pack ice of the Arctic environment, and the animals that are distinctively adapted to life there.
