Michigan International Speedway (MIS)

Michigan International Speedway (MIS)
Michigan International Speedway is located in Brooklyn, Michigan, nestled on more than 1,400 acres in the Irish Hills area. In 2009, the historic two-mile oval will host five races, featuring four different series in two event weekends throughout the summer.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide (formerly Busch) Series, NASCAR Camping World (formerly Craftsman) Truck Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series all race on the high banks of MIS during the 2009 race season. It is not just the action on the track that makes the speedway a memorable experience. With more than 9,000 reserved campsites available, camping has become a signature attraction at the speedway, offering a getaway opportunity in one of the speedway’s ten premier campgrounds. If your need for speed includes actually driving a 3,400 pound stock car, then call the speedway for information on one of the driving school opportunities available during the summer months. For more information about camping, driving schools, or to purchase tickets please visit our Web site or call the MIS Ticket Hotline. Michigan International Speedway – “It’s Your Speed!”
