A cooperating site of the Keweenaw National Historical Park,
the mine offers many options for touring. Tour the Museum, the inside of the No. 2 Shaft House which processed material brought up from the deep mine shaft, the Nordberg Steam Hoist--the world's largest steam-powered hoist engine--and ride the Cog Rail Tram. Don’t forget the ride by tractor-pulled wagon seven levels underground into the mine.
