Michigan Hiking

Hiking Trails in Michigan lead us through old growth forests. They guide us to waterfalls. They usher us to the tops of mountains, back across time and down through urban canyons. On a trail in Michigan, we can hike more than 200 miles on the shores that connect Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. Enjoy a day of backpacking along any breathtaking section of the North Country National Scenic Trail. So let’s lace up our hiking boots, because in this part of the world, any given backpacking trail will point us to Pure Michigan. Do you like sand dunes? Then read about three breathtaking Dune Hiking Destinations from writer Rebecca Reynolds, with permission from Michigan BLUE magazine.
