Michigan Hunting

Deer Hunting Season. Turkey Hunting Season. Bear Hunting Season. The calendar tells us when hunting in Michigan begins, but cooler temperatures trigger our instincts. Whether we're camouflaged in tree stands or following our dogs' leads, thousands of acres of prime Michigan hunting grounds let us put our skills to the test. From big game to small, the thrill of the hunt is Pure Michigan.

If you’re new to Michigan and wish to do some hunting, there are outfitters and guides available. Michigan even has a few hunting preserves where you can hunt within a contained area and are guaranteed to be able to sight game animals.

Waterfowl Hunting

Waterfowl Hunting
Michigan's rich dark soil makes for wonderful rolling sprawling crop land and wooded landscapes and lakes, and all combine for fantastic waterfowl hunting. Some of the best nesting habitat for geese in the country can be found here. Michigan's duck and goose hunting requires a Michigan small game license and waterfowl stamp.
