Adventure Naturally: LIFE ON THE WATER

With more than 125 square miles of lakes, rivers and streams, Antrim County is a water-lover’s paradise. Covering 500 square
miles in Antrim, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse and Kalkaska counties, the Chain of Lakes includes more than 200 miles of shoreline.
Explore the Chain of Lakes by pontoon boat, kayak or stand-up paddleboards, as well as with traditional power boats, which are
allowed on most waterways. Bring your own or rent a boat for an hour, day or week at area marinas.

Enjoy the quiet calm of Bellaire, Intermediate, Elk and Clam lakes, as well as the depths of Torch Lake, the largest inland lake in
the state of Michigan, and the smaller, shallower Upper Lakes – including Six Mile Lake, known as a fisherman’s heaven.
