Pure South Haven

Thanks to Amanda McGauley for sharing her beautiful pictures from her Independence Day trip to South Haven!

The weather was perfect, as one could not ask for more than not having a cloud in the sky. The piers at South Haven were beautiful and the sand on the beaches flawless. We were able to watch the boats come and go most of the day across the crisp clear blue water of Lake Michigan. Our goal was to watch the sunset off the coastline and well, we were able to succeed. It was this every thing that makes us proud to live in a wonderful state that is truly Pure Michigan.

  2. Visited South Haven June 28th thru June 30th. Loved it there. Delicious Blueberry Oatmeal pancakes at the Phoenix, yummy blueberry fudge at Kilins, wonderful meal at Maria’s (love the marinara sauce). Watched the sun set from the pier, beautiful.

  3. I would highly recommend South Haven. The beach is huge and there is plenty of things to do there. Hope this helps some. Enjoy!

  4. Michigan is BEAUTIFUL – the sand, water, beaches, and then there is the beauty of Up North. Your photos show one of the many reasons to LOVE Michigan. (we may have our problems, but we sure have our MANY blessings, too.)
