Let’s play a game…

I SpyPure Michigan is playing a game of MI Spy this fall – and we want you to join us.

While enjoying the beautiful fall weather, we want to know what you’re seeing.  When you’re out and about, and you see something that just says Pure Michigan fall to you, post it on our Facebook wall, or let us know via Twitter – just use the tag #MIspy.  We want to know when the color is peaking in your area, where the greatest apple picking is, what your favorite cider mills are, and when the best time to pick a pumpkin is in your neck of the woods.

Every week, we’ll round up some of your Tweets and Facebook posts, and post them right here on the Pure Michigan blog, so be creative.  We’d love to see pictures and video from all of you – but make sure you tag them as #MIspy so we can find them!

We’ll even start…#MIspy, with our little eye

  1. Hey There. I found your weblog using msn. This is a really smartly written article.
I will be sure to bookmark it and return to read extra of your helpful information.

Thanks for the post. I’ll certainly comeback.

  2. I live in Somerset Twp. Mi, it is a great area to enjoy everything about fall. We have McCourtie Park which is an historical treasure. It was built in the 30s by Mr. McCourtie who owned a local cement plant. There are several cement bridges which have been carved to represent wood, rope, thatching and trees. The park is ablaze now with fall colors and the crystal clear stream the bridges span are full of floating colored leaves. When you get done exploring the park Flavor Fruit Farms is less than 1/4 mile away. They have music wonderful donuts and cider an on occassion an elephant to ride. There are always wonderful things going on on the weekends in the fall at the farm. If you like a little more adventure there are off road thrills just down US 12 south about 5 miles from the fruit farm. You can bring your off road bike or vehicle and enjoy all the thrills the old stone quary has to offer. There is a lot to do here and fall is always full of wonderful sights and smells and thrills.

  3. MIspy…grew up in farm country in the middle of the MI thumb…nothing shouts MI to me like a barn surrounded with trailers full of last cutting of hay with the trees surrounding in full FALL colors and a bombfire to roast Koegel hot dogs and marshmallows…

  4. Michigan has it all any season, but now it just glows with all the fall follage.
Fun things to do and wonderful food. Just motor around and see something new to explore.

  5. I don’t know why anyone would move from Michigan. It is one of the most beautiful states in the country. Especially fall, nice cool temps, no bugs, and beautiful color. Mother at her best!!!!

  6. Just got home from Gods country. The UP is starting to get color, the dogs are howling at the poor bear, the lake is warmer than the air, and I loved walking to see the different falls that we can only enjoy in OUR wonderful UP.

  7. Fall, the smell, the taste, the beauty, the crispness, the Football games, the friendship around a roaring blaze from a wood fire and the gooyness of s’mores. So many memories of Michigan in the Fall and hopefully so many to come.

  8. This is my favorite website. I love looking at the pictures and all the fun activities that are available for us to enjoy. There is something in the air when Fall starts to show it’s glorious colors. I feel so alive during this season.
