4 Nadine June 22, 2010 at 2:50 pm: We will also be taking out teenagers on a road trip to the UP, as part of a college tour. We will stop and fish and see waterfalls and Maritime museums. The car will be packed with Faygo, Vlassic pickles, Pinconning cheese, Koegel hot dogs and Better Made potato chips, just as it was when we were kids.
And we will bring back more stories and laughs than if we went on a Carribean cruise, but more importantly, we will share our love of this great state and promote to our children, hoping they will remaine here for years after they graduate as well.
5 Kgb1124 May 17, 2012 at 11:20 am: This reminds me of all the road trips we took as kids. My dad would load up the car & we would head out—destination unknown. We saw a lot of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
