Tim Allen and Pure Michigan

Tim AllenIt’s official! We’re an unbeatable combination!

Today, Tim Allen confirmed what we knew all along – the Pure Michigan Ads are among his best work.  In an article for AdAge published today, Allen talks about his pride in being a Michigander, and his enjoyment in being the voice of Pure Michigan.

Tim Allen’s voice work for the Pure Michigan campaign is one of the key reasons for the campaign’s success.  We don’t think Forbes would have named Pure Michigan one of the All-time 10 Best Tourism Promotion Campaigns Worldwide last week without Tim Allen’s contribution to this effort.

Thanks, Tim, for your dedication over the years.  We couldn’t be more proud to have you as our voice!

  1. I fricking hate these commercials. Everytime they come on I pause the tv so I can fast forward afterward. Why they play in Virginia and why anyone would possibly go to Michigan if the can go south or to the northeast is beyond me. Michigan should save their commercial budget and fix their cities.

  2. My husband and I have been arguing and arguing about this forever!! I LOVE the ads, but I didn’t believe it was Tim Allen’s voice until he showed me this article a few minutes ago. It doesn’t sound like him to me, but the ad sure makes me proud to be from Michigan!

  3. This radio ad campaign is running in Toronto, Canada right now. Absolutely beautiful! I am blown away by the many ways that Michigan is enterprising it’s way past the difficulties of the last decade. Truly a role model.

  4. Have you ever considered writing an e-book or guest authoring
on other websites? I have a blog based on the same ideas you discuss and would love to have you share some stories/information.

I know my subscribers would appreciate your work. If you’re even remotely interested, feel free to send me an e mail.

  5. Love Michigan. Love Tim Allen. Yes, the commercials beckon you to Michigan locations to relax. However, Michigan has many activities that are exciting – boating, skiing, fishing…a couple of more peppy ads would be fun to enjoy too! Did I just hear Buzz Lightyear?! To Michigan and beyond!!

  6. I love love these commerical if I’m driving and the commercial comes on I turn up the radio & if the commercial comes on the tv I close my eyes & picture myself in michigan.

  7. Yes indeed.Tim Allen’s voice is wonderful, It takesme back when I was a little girl going on vacation with my parents. Seeing the beautiful sites in Michigan. Somethings change. 8. My husband and I have been disagreeing about who did the voice over for these beautiful ads. I was sure it was Redford!!!! So glad to hear it is Tim Allens voice. Beautiful job and great commercials that remind me of what a great country we have and how we must ignore the nay sayers like Redford.

  9. I love these ads. Every time I hear one, I stop and listen to them. They are so relaxing and inviting. I just want to get in my car and go to Michigan. Its a great state, beautiful and tons of things to do and see. I’ve been all over the state, and lived there for a short time. Tim Allen, you are a such a blessing. Can’t wait to go back to Michigan.

  10. Way cool! Some very valid points! I appreciate you writing this
article and also the rest of the website is really
    good.

  11. Just found out that it’s Tim Allen’s voice for the Pure Michigan commerials. Just saw one on the television and told my husband how comforting and relaxing those ads are. Being from Massachusetts, I guess I just might have to pack my bags and go visit that beautiful state of Michigan. Thanks, Tim; you can really sell your state !!!!

  12. Tim Allen and the photography of the Pure Michigan ads make me want to go there! Tim Allen’s voice ads “Pure” enticement to the Michigan landscape. He does such an absolutely fabulous, wonderful job with his “Pure” awesome voice! I don’t think there are adequate words to effectively describe what is so wonderful about his voice. I guess I don’t need to, you just need to listen to him!! “Pure” natural talent!

  13. Like most everyone else, I get mesmerized and nearly weepy whilst watching or even hearing Tim Allen narrating a Pure Michigan ad. They’re practically magical, as is this beautiful state! Oh lucky me, I live here!

  14. Grew up in Tawas City, Michigan and traveled all through the U.P. and northern Michigan with my family until I joined the Marine Corps in 1983. I knew that I missed the season changes through the years, but now living in Las Vegas and seeing the ads on TV makes me want to go back and spend a year or two just traveling through the state and revisiting all those spots I first discovered as a child.

  15. I too am a Michigander now living in Iowa so to move to San Antonio, TX. I love the Pure Michigan ads and relive all the familiar locations shown throughout the ads. I did not realize Tim Allen was the voice of the ad and writing today to obtain information about the music of Pure Michigan? Every time I hear it I relive all those memorable moments of many trips to Mackinaw Island, Greenfield Village, Traverse City, Detroit Art Museum, and many more. It you would be so kind to share the name of the music of the ads it would be appreciated.

  16. OMG, the pure Michigan ads make me weep, and my heart sing.
born there, moved away, lived there again long ago, and not back in many years, my boyfriend took me to his cottage on lake Michigan,Epworth Heights in Ludington, I rounded the corner, saw the lake, and burst into tears, my heart said you are home!!!!the most wonderful time of my life was spent back there in Michigan, for one week, that has forever changed me.
Longing. pining, dying to go back….the ads are small fixes to keep me going till I can return. There is something so magical about Michigan, I give God a 10 for making the perfect place.

  17. I recently watched “Gasland” a docmentary that made me wonder if “Fracking” was in MIchigan and to my disappointment it is already here.   The first frack wells are being permitted in state forests and on private lands in Kalkaska, Missaukee, Cheboygan, Ogemaw, Hillsdale, Roscommon and Gladwin Counties including Yankee Springs. We need to keep “Pure Michigan” exactly that.
Find out where you can sign a petition in your area to ban “Fracking” in Michigan because if it isn’t in your back yard already it will be.  See websites:  banmichiganfracking.org; http://www.LetsBanFracking.org

Tim Allen we need your voice in this campaign as well!

  18. I am a native Michigander.  I now live in Rhode Island another beautiful state…but every year I pack up the kids and the dogs and we go to enjoy Pure Michigan as I remember it.  We all look forward to our annual trip and I love sharing this state with my family.  Pure Michigan ads choke me up.  I always stop to watch each one.  I am so glad they air out here so I can enjoy each one.  Keep it up…

  19. I absolutely love these ads. I believe they are fabulous and create the most soothing feelings. I believe these are some of my most favorite advertisements ever! Great job Michigan!

  20. I’ve never been one to really get into advertising but there is just SOMETHING about these ads that get me. I LOVE them. Great great job Michigan and Tim Allen!

  21. This web site can be a stroll-through for all of the data you wished about this and didn’t know who to ask. Glimpse right here, and also you’ll definitely discover it.

  22. I have been meaning to post for some time now, but… anyway, we live in Windsor, Ontario and just hearing of Michigan in these commercials is great. We have visited many of these destinations before and each time I hear the commercials it takes you right back just as you are there in person.  It is a perfect marketing campaign, very well thought out, excellent celebrity pick, Tim Allen is perfect, being from Michigan.  Well done people, great job!  Too bad others are now copying (Illinois).

  23. The “Pure Michigan” advertisements are absolutely stunning and reflect the state perfectly. With the right balance of description, music and messaging, the Pure Michigan campaign has notably taken off and garnered apt recognition. These ads make me proud to be Pure Michigan.

  24. Love those ads and while I spend most of the year in Scottsdale AZ, I return to Leland for summer at the lake! The Pure Michigan ads help me feel not so far from home!

  25. I have visited the islands 3 times and have had a wonderful time on all three.  My husband and I were there several years ago when our daughter was around12 years old and we sure enjoyed all of it.  Then we came back twice with Toby Tours.  My girl friend, Georgia Dee Colin and I on the last trip and we finally got to see the Lilacs in bloom, I have some beautiful pictures of them all in bloom.  If I ever get the chance to come up there again I probably will.

  26. I truly love these Pure Michigan commercials; they are works of art.      Relatives of mine, native to MI, now living elsewhere in the US have fallen in love with them, and are aching to come back ‘home’ to pure Michigan.     Whoever created these has “pure” genius.     Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. Tim Allen has been therapy for me.  I live in Florida and miss my Michigan so much.  I’ve lived in several areas of the state, and there is none like it.  We always enjoyed the outdoors and explored so much of the state.  I really miss “home” and when I hear Tim and the Pure Michigan commercials, nostalgia gets me.  Seeing all the pictures of “Pure Michigan”, keeps my memories fresh.  Keep up the great work, Tim, and keep all of us Michiganders attached.  There’s no place like home, and there’s no voice like that of Tim Allen.  Thank you.

  28. We are from Ontario and love Michigan.I have always enjoyed Tim allens Michigan commercials great voice over and locations to match. Just a great job !!!

  29. Thanks, Tim, for a wonderful job. We r so proud of our state, and of you, natch!! Diana Gornick Day

  30. I grew up in Michigan and now live in Virginia. The Pure Michigan commercials are simply breath taking and always take me back to my memories of living there. My husband and I spent our college summers working at the Murray Hotel on Mackinac Island. Our friends in Virginia and Baltimore are now planning vacations to Michigan after seeing these commercials and hearing our tales.

  31. I love these commercials.  I stop whatever I am doing just to listen, and if I am in the car I crank it up louder.  Last week I was in San Antonio, Texas and one of these commercials came on the television.  I was so excited.  Thank you for some awesome ads.

  32. I’m proud to be a native of Michigan (now living as a Hoosier) every time I see these commercials.  You could definitely market a collection of these on  DVD.  I love watching them. The scenes are just as I remember them. Keep up the good work!

  33. OMG…never realized the voice was Tim’s.  I absolutely love the commercials and love Tim Allen.  Kudos for getting him to voice the ads.  Love this state!!

  34. Having graduated High School from Interlochen Arts Academy,in Interlochen, MI (just south of Traverse City) I have fallen in love with Michigan.  And every time I hear Tim Allen’s voice and the places he takes on the the “Pure Michigan” commercials I am brought back to those awesome places that were my home for a few years.  And now, celebrating our 40th reunion, I go back once a year to reconnect with my dear friends, to join under the stately pines, the crystal, clear,  blue green waters, the towering 450 ft. sand dunes, and the peacefulness that we left behind us.  Thank you Tim for your voice in these commercials.  I didn’t know that was YOU!

    Very sincerely ~ Char

  35. I have to fight tears every time I see or hear one of the commercials. They are so well done!  I love our state and these commercials show the best our state has to offer.

  36. Every time I hear one of the Pure Michigan commercials it’s like a mini vacation away from my busy day…I can picture in my mind all the wonderful locations Tim is talking about and for a moment or two my mind wanders to the beach and the surf rolling in on my beautiful Lake Michigan. Thanks Tim….love your voice!! Thanks Pure Michigan for getting everyone else to enjoy our wonderful state!!

  37. when the pure michigan ad comes on..i stop in my tracks and watch it.
sometime i play it back a few times  …i love them sooooo much!

  38. im from nyc but those pure michigan ads just drew me in completely. the music from the cider house rules, tims voice, the beautiful visuals and the messages of slowing things and simplicity beckon the part of me yearning for that.
in these fast paced times with everyone always busy, stressed, overtired…it no surprise we all love these commercials so much…

  39. LOVE LOVE LOVE these ads. I have such great memories of my summers in Northern Michgan, and these commercials make me want to move ther, I’m planning a trip there as we speak. Keep up the great work.

  40. I can’t agree enough with all the great comments about Michigan. The Pure Michigan promotion campaign is fantastic, and it’s so true! We moved to Roscommon to purchase and operate a canoe livery on the South Branch of the AuSable. The river is so pristine, as are the surrounding lakes. We couldn’t be happier with wonderful Northern Michigan and its friendly people Charlene – Campbell’s Canoe Livery

  41. Many thanks to Tim Allen, his voice is so smooth and mesmorizing in these ads, I love Michigan!

  42. He needs to do a relaxation CD, these always make me want to just fall asleep, I love these commercials because I’ve been to most of the places too and can picture them.

  43. I was born and grew up in Michigan – although I haven’t lived there for many years I feel a real sense of pride and nostalgia when I see the beautiful “Pure Michigan” ads.  Tim Allen does a fine job as does the photographer.

  44. I am from Toledo, Ohio whenever I hear these commercials, I stop, visualize what Tim Allen is describing! Makes me want to not just go 15 min into Michigan but to pack up and drive up to the Michigan UP….Let’s go, what are you waiting for? Its Pure Michigan and waiting just for you :)

  46. The voice and the visuals are “pure” never knew it was Tim Allen til I read it here.  He is worth whatever it costs to keep him on these mesmerizing spots.  We went to Michigan last year because of these ads, stayed at the Homestead and fished at “Fishtown” ..did you know the King Salmon run there in July and the water must be pure because there were OTTERS!  Wonderful trip, great golf too. Renell

  47. Love these Pure Michigan ads. Love Pure Michigan. Brings back such wonderful memories of our times spent in Michigan.  Heading there again in a few weeks for the first time this year of many.

  48. without a doub, the best commercials on television. how could you not want to go there and hope that tim allen would be there to welcome you !!

  49.  I was born in Michigan and my whole family is still there. I live in Alabama and these ads make me home sick. Michigan has a lot to offer and needs some money back into the economy.

  50. My son loves these commercials soo much it made his decision about where to go to college?!  He can’t wait to be a Spartan! Go Green, Go White! Btw any scholarships for this???

  51. Even the word “pure” alone draws people in because every city, town, and state has its good points and bad points. It is all in how it is marketed and the Pure Michigan ads are “pure genius”  I normally detest reruns, but I watch the Pure michigan ads over and over again because they  are magnificent in every way!

  52. I’ve been hearing the Pure Michigan ads on TV and radio for a couple of years now and it still affects me. Love to hear the voice and the calming music. It beckons one to visit MI. I’m from the west but I do travel to MI once every other year or so and love the state. It is wonderful. I hope these ads continue because they’re great.

  53. I’ve been listening to the Tigers playoff games on the ‘net and have been hearing the commericals and it brought back some sweet memories. I am a California boy born and raised, but had the chance to live in work in your great State five years ago. I never knew how beautiful it was until I lived there and was able to travel around the State on weekends. While California weather is hard to beat much of the time – If I had the opportunity I would strongly consider going back to Michigan. I definitely hope to visit and vacation there again someday. Back to the ads – I love the music and the voice – and while it always sounded familiar – it wasn’t until today that it dawned on me who’s voice it was – I was certain it was Tim Allen (and of course with his connection to Michigan a no-brainer). I googled “Tim Allen Michigan.org” and came across all these wonderful links and like this one – all full of praise. I have to admit they make me miss it even more. You have a wonderful state.

  54. THE ADS FOR PURE MICHIGAN ALWAYS STOP ME DEAD IN MY TRACKS. WHEREVER I AM AND I HEAR THESE COMMERCIALS, I STOP AND HAVE TO JUST LISTEN. TIM ALLENS VOICE AND THE WAY HE PRESENTS THESE COMMERCIALS MAKE YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES AND SEE WHATEVER HE IS TELLING ABOUT OUR GREAT STATE. ONLY MR. ALLEN IS MOST PERFECT FOR THIS. THANK YOU MR. TIM ALLEN AND THANK YOU THE STATE OF MICHIGAN FOR FINDING THE PERFECT PERSON.

  55. I too was sure that the voice was that of the late Cliff Robertson. I was shocked to learn that it is Tim Allen. I LOVE those ads! They bring such a sense of peace, especially when I’m sitting in traffic and they come on the radio. Great job, Tim!

  56. I’m from O-H-I-O! Need I say more:) But every time I see/hear the Pure Michigan commercials, I want to drop everything and head up north! Tim Allen just makes Michigan come alive and makes it seem to be among the most desirable places on earth! Hope you never stop those commercials and hopefully we’ll make it up to the beautiful state of Michigan in the near future!

  57. Everytime I hear the Michigan Commercials I merely close my eyes and just listen. At first I thought the voice over waas Cliff Robertson, but have since found it to be Tim Allen. If the people in charge could make a CD of the best commercials with all the scenery, I know I would by it.

Thanks and keep up the good work with Mr. Allen.

  58. As a former Michigander, I am so proud when I hear these commercials. Well done, Tim Allen and the ad company who created this ad series!

  59. I’m a Southerner, born and bred, but have to say after seeing (and listening to) these commercials, I’d love to visit Michigan! Great job by Tim Allen and all concerned! Love these ads!

  60. I’m not from Michigan, but hearing the commercial, I want to be! I am from Western New York and recently moved to Chicago so i hear the commercial on the radio all the time. I have planned a week long vacation to Michigan! Great work.

  61. Every time I hear one of these commercials, I just want to get in my car & drive to Michigan! Between Tim’s soothing voice (hard to recognize, only because you usually hear him joking!), the gorgeous scenery, and the great music, it’s by far the BEST tourism commercial there is. I’m a native Ohioan, but have spent a lot of time camping in Michigan at Grayling & Brighton State Parks, as well as visiting friends in Grand Rapids. Also love Ann Arbor – which kills me to say, as I’m an OSU fan! Michigan is a beautiful state and it’s nice to see a place that still has a lot of untouched land.

  62. I love these ads, I love Michigan. I was very taken and schock to find that Tim Allen did the ads !!! I love his voice !!! Great Job Tim !!!

  63. I think the the Pure Michigan campaign is the best EVER! For any state tourism. I’ve never been to Michigan, but everytime I hear the commercials, I have to go. I plan the trip in my head and picture myself there.

  64. Tim Allen?!!! And all this time I thought that sexy voice belonged to Cliff Robertson. They sure do sound alike. Who thunk that? :) Next time, I will have to listen closely and try to picture Tim instead of Cliff.

  65. I absolutely love the “Pure Michigan” adds. It was not until today that I found out that Tim Allen was the voice, even though I knew it sounded familiar. The commercials make me have goosebumps and tears in my eyes and with knowing that an actor I like and respect is the voice just makes them all the better! So thank you to Tim Allen and the add agency:)

  66. My husband and I live in Ohio :( but we have a cabin in Upper Lower MI. We make it up there 10 or 11 times a year (all seasons) I used to live in the Soo. Tim’s commercials give me such a yearning to be there and while I’m listening I can almost feel being there…sounds weird I know… I’m in love with the state! It owns a piece of my heart! Thanks Tim! oh and GO BLUE!

  67. I don’t know what it is, but my husand and I are captivated by these commercials. We stop and look at each other. Is that John Goodman or Tim Allen? Who knew their voices were so much alike. I thought I was the only one but am amazed that so many like these ads too. Great combination. Never been to Michigan, but kinda want to go now. We are Texans. I hate stupid commericials! We are not idiots. Thank you for something inspiring and fresh!

  68. you would hate these advertisements if you where unemployed and having to listen to them two hours a day before you can talk to a human….yea the max could take up to six weeks is nonsense im on my 14th week, but hey i call everyday and i could rattle off every advertisement…michigan is the worst…i hate this place

  69. Love Love these advertisements, they are the best. Michigan is a great state for a trip. There are so many things to do and see. Every time I see a ad it goes right to my heart. I’m a Michigan gal! Also Tim Allen does a great job. I hope these ads are done every year. Michigan is a Beautiful State!

  70. I love those ads and always wondered whose voice that was-never would have guessed it was Tim Allen! He is certainly a wonderful choice! We always traveled through Michigan on our way north to Winnipeg and have enjoyed many stops along the way, from Frankenmuth and Birch Run to Sault St Marie, St. Ignace and even west to Marquette. The roadside rest stops were always SO clean in Michigan and the little parks were so appreciated. A truly beautiful state…those ads are every bit the truth.

  71. [...] Rose Theater. Comedian Tim Allen has done the voice overs for the very popular and inspirational “Pure Michigan” tourism campaign and regularly wore sweat shirts depicting state colleges and universities on “Home [...]

  72. i have never been to michigan, but have heard these ads in texas. i immediately recognized tim allen’s voice. i have heard him do voice-over work in a lot of commercials these days. the commercials seem fresh every time and never have a cheesy or sappy quality. it is nice to see michigan portrayed other than just the barrenness of flint.

  73. I sincerely hope Michigan hires Tim Allen to continue with the Pure Michigan campaign. The first time I heard the commercials was while waiting on hold with a Michigan agency. The promos run continuously, how wonderful! Memories of traveling in Michigan brought out emotions in me I did not even know were there. Michigan….Get Tim again! The state needs him. Chevy has him…..just makes sense.

    Thanks Tim

  74. I am new to the area and already these ads bring great pride living in this beautiful state. Thank you Tim for supply your voice. They bring tears to my eyes.

  75. I make everyone stop taking and I turn up the radio everytime i here a pure michigan ad. I even get a little emotional about it. I love being a michigander and these ads show michigan as a beautiful state.

  76. I thought the voice sounded familiar. I’m a born Michigander, now a Texas transplant. My native Texan daughter now lives in Gladstone and we visit her every year, summer and a couple of Christmas’s. The Pure Michigan commercials are absolutely breaktaking. Makes me want to visit more often.

  77. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was Tims voice.

But as a resident of Ontario I hear these ads every day….and have loved them since the first time – and I never get tired of hearing them.

And as all good advertising is supposed to do….these make me want to visit Michigan.

However I am jealous that Ontario has not done a better job of making me feel that way……woops did I say that?

Cheers and way to go Tim and Michigan..on an excellent job – you bring tears to my eyes and I have never seen Michigan…

  78. I have watched the Pure Michigan commercials, and I recognized Tim Allen’s voice right away, but I had to google it to make sure. His voice is soothing, and just makes you feel nice. It goes perfect with the beautiful scenery they show. What a perfect match! The awesome state with an awesome man- Tim Allen! For some reason Tim Allen has always had that effect on me. He just makes me feel good! Smart to have him, and good work Tim! Thank you!

  79. Thank you, Tim, for making these great commercials. I love Michigan and love the fact that you would invest your time in doing what you can for this state. The ads are awesome and deserve the adulation.

  80. I’ve spent my summers on Crystal Lake in northwest Michigan for 50 years, and have never been able to adequately describe to others how Michigan is in my soul. The memories of walking miles of Lake Michigan beaches with my dad, the endless sunsets, the family memories that were created in such a special and beautiful place are precious. The Pure Michigan ads have captured the exact feelings those memories give me. Tim Allen’s voice is the perfect choice to deliver the words that so perfectly describe what a special place Michigan truly is. Thank you for these beautiful meminders all year long.

  81. PURE MICHIGAN through the voice and PASSION of Tim Allen rings true for all of us who love this Great State. People are naturally smart when it comes to truth, love and faith. So when Tim talks about his state … Michigan … with pride, we can all hear and feel it in his voice. Evidently others can as well and most likely feel some personal emotion that connects us with them. Keep up the good work Tim!!!

    Natural Michiganer, Bruce

  82. Tim Allen? Tim Allen? I’m in shock. It’s unbelievable. I had no idea that he had such a sexy and soothing voice. He’s a keeper. This is the best commercial voice I’ve heard and I’ve heard plenty. I love all the Pure Michigan commercials. They’re in my bookmark.

    I’m in awe.

    G

  83. The most remarkable voice on TV and RADIO. The words and pictures are out of sight. For me it’s a source of relief after a long day and the wonderful scenes are beautiful. You should capture all these AD’S on a video, along with the words and sell it and bring another source of revenue to PURE MICHIGAN!

For we individuals that can’t afford to take a vacations anywhere I listen to this if I want to dream!
Hats off to Tim Allen and the fine marketing team that put this together.

    VGS

  84. The pure mich ad is incredible. I have fallen in love with Tim Allen’s presentation. At first I was just in love , I didn’t know it was him. everything about the campaign is fantastic….mr.Allen’s voice is just simply magnetic.I want to know who wrote the scripts, who directed his presentations.who photographed everything because it is all so satisfying and compelling. Iwish it were on all evening……I am an ad and commercial follower and the last campaign I loved was the Chanel ad with a women diving into a pool, but this has never been equaled promoting a state….

  85. Whether we’re in the car or watching T.V. in our living room, (Even sometimes out in a store or restaurant!), when a “Pure Michigan” commercial comes on, everyone is stopped. My whole family gets a dreamy far-away look in their eyes. The conversation picks back up later, but it’s an unspoken family “rule” that noone talks over a “Pure Michigan” commercial. Those are sacred. Sometimes after dinner, we sit out on the deck with a laptop and watch all the ads on the website. Congratulations for the honor! They truly are the most beautiful and inspiring minutes of airtime anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up!

  86. My kudos to your agency. I’ve been in the ad business for nearly 30 years and have only had chills run down my spine about 3 times. Pure Michigan, with Tim Allen’s superb “feel” for how Michigan’s voice should be delivered, is among the best work I’ve ever seen and is 1 of my 3 spine tinglers. When you can say that advertising is inspirational, there’s no higher honor.

  87. By far some of the BEST advertisement for the state in a long time. If not ever. I love our state and the tourism that is available here. You get it all. Most people do not appreciate what Michigan has to offer. The best of all seasons and experiences in one great state.
I did not recognize Tim Allen at first. I just fell in love with the commercials. Some even brought tears to my eyes and made me cry. The ad for Sault St. Marie is especially close to my heart. My daughter went to college at Lake State and met her husband there. The experience was a chance at a new begining for her, along with finding out about herself, and reconnecting with what matters most. In the land where it all began. Just like the commercial states. It was almost as if it was written just for the two of them. We printed it out and used it at her bridal shower.
Thanks so much for making me believe in Michigan again.
