Wild Africa

Get ready for a whole new African adventure this summer in Battle Creek! Binder Park Zoo is now offering overnight stays in their African Tented Camp, where you wake up to the sounds of the African savanna.  The zoo offers spectacular views of wild animals living in enclosures that mimic their real-world habitats as much as possible. Elevated boardwalks allow you to get nose-to-nose with one of the largest giraffe herds in the country - who will take lettuce right from your hand!

African Adventure

An African Adventure awaits you. Welcome to Wild Africa, located at Binder Park Zoo just outside of Battle Creek. Enjoy a Family Overnight Safari and see 433 acres of forests, wetlands and animals.

Animals

With approximately 600 animals of over 140 species, which includes 32 rare and exotic animals, you are sure to find several that you'll love to see.

Snowy Owl

The snowy owl is one of the largest species of owl and on average, the heaviest owl. Males are almost all white, while females have more flecks of gray plumage.

Bailey Park

One of the finest amateur baseball and softball complexes in the area. The complex boasts eight softball diamonds and four baseball diamonds.

FireKeepers Casino

FireKeepers is home to 2,900 slot machines, 70 hand-dealt table games and an onsite event calendar. Grab dinner at one of its many restaurants.

Full Blast

An indoor/outdoor water park that features two outdoor water slides and two indoor water slides. Enjoy zero depth entry pools and a water playground.

Historic Bridge Park

An open-air museum of historic truss bridges. There are a total of six in the park.

Festival Market Square

A brand new, outdoor events center in downtown Battle Creek. Hosts the farmers market in the summer and various events throughout the year.
