Benzonia lies in the middle of Benzie County, on the south side of Crystal Lake.  Benzonia has beautiful swimming beaches and several small shops to visit. Go to Gwen Frostic Prints and BeeDazzled Candleworks. Benzonia is also famous as the birthplace of Bruce Catton, both a Michigan and Civil War historian.
