Bergland is located on the western end of the Upper Peninsula and on the shores of Lake Gogebic. Listen to a pair of loons calling to one another as you cast your line or watch a bald eagle soar overhead while you sip a hot cup of coffee in the morning. Gogebic Ridge Hiking Trail is an eight mile linear hiking trail beginning along Weary Lake, then pauses at a rock ledge overlooking lake Gogebic. You might find yourself sharing the Bergland Ski Trail with white tailed deer and other fur bearing mammals and wintering songbirds.
