Located in the northeast corner of Mecosta County, Chippewa Lake itself covers 790 acres and hails as the county's largest lake. Young people from all over Michigan come to Chippewa Lake to enjoy the warm summer days in hopes of catching a cool breeze along with jet skiing, boating and fishing which provides family fun all over the lake while swimmers take to the water to keep cool during the hot summer days.
