The City of Linden is a vibrant community that takes pride in its historic charm. Across the River from the Mill building sits a picturesque park that is home to the Linden Mill Pond Gazebo, popular for outdoor weddings and summertime events, including Music by the Mill, a summer concert series. Up the street stands City Hall, where the day to day business of the City takes place. Eagles Wooden Park and Playground, which bounds the River, is surrounded by an expanse of woods within walking distance of shops and restaurants. This park features forested trails winding with the bend of the River. Linden is on the doorstep of the Genesee County Park System. Linden County Park consists of 135 acres, including a 1.1 mile walking trail and bike path. The path connects to the City's sidewalk system making it accessible from many downtown locations. Get in your daily walk, morning run, bike ride with your family or enjoy a cookout while overlooking Clover Beach on Byram Lake. In the winter, the park is host to snowmobilers, cross-country skiing as well as a sledding and toboggan hill.
