AARP and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Rec 101 program have partnered to get you ready to explore and experience the best of Michigan's great outdoors in a safe and fun way.
At the beginning of the session, learn about fraud prevention and how to keep your finances safe during a short presentation by AARP staff. Each session will feature a different topic. The presentation will be followed by Bike Fit 101, where you will learn bike safety tips and a guided bicycle ride. Meet at the Flynn Pavillion, near the intersection of Picnic Way and Loiter Way in Belle Isle Park. Bring your own bike or a limited number of bicycles are available to borrow (minimum 48-hour advance notice). To RSVP and/or reserve, call Tiffany, Riverside Kayak Connection at 734-558-4700.
