AARP and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Rec 101 program have partnered to get you ready to explore and experience the best of Michigan's great outdoors in a safe and fun way.
Experience the signature AARP "Life Reimagined" program from the cockpit of a kayak. Enjoy an evening float along Belle Is;e Park's canals and learn about urban wildlife, paddling and how to navigate life's river bends. Meet at the Flynn Pavillion, near the intersection of Picnic Way and Loiter Way, in Belle Isle Park. Limited kayak rentals are available from Riverside Kayak Connection.
