The Plymouth Historical Museum’s new special exhibit “A Dickens of a Christmas” is a tribute to Charles Dickens, who would have been 200 this year. We’ve recreated the village of Plymouth as it may have been during the Victorian era (1837–1901), which overlaps with Dickens’s life (1812–1870). Take special note of all the early clothing, toys, and accessories, most of which are from the Museum’s collections. Hours of operation are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1-4pm. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children (6-17). Please call (734) 455-8940 for more information or to make a tour reservation.
