You won't want to miss Eric Hemenway's presentation "A Separate Battle: The Great Lakes Tribal Nations Involvement in the War of 1812" on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 11am. Mr. Hemenway will focus on the little known Great Lakes tribal warriors and what happened to the tribes after the War of 1812, including many unknown repercussions the war had on the tribes. He will also talk about how the the Odawa, along with a multitude of other tribes, fought alongside Tecumseh in the hopes of securing land and rights.
