Come in and see the new 2016 conservation work on the museum's George A. Custer personal guidon which was opened during Custer Week. Partly sponosored through donations, this swallowtail Civil War guidon was used by Custer during some of his time with the Michigan Cavalary Brigade, of Gettysburg fame. The guidon now has space all its own, and has more intepretive information on its history. A recolored example shows what the guidon originally looked like in red and blue.
