A special farmers market will be held on the east lawn of the State Capitol, Thursday, July 31, 2014, 10am to 3pm, rain or shine. You will be able to purchase a wide variety of products, including fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, flowers, jams, jellies, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, fish and meat, salsas, dips, pickled products, soaps and more. All of this is just a sample of the more than 200 agricultural commodities produced in Michigan.
