Join the Friends of Island Lake for a free snowshoe hike. The short hikes will begin at the Kent Lake parking lot with a brief introduction to snowshoeing. Participants will get the chance to hike a portion of the new Hickory Ridge Hike and Ski Trail. Participants are invited to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and donuts at the warming station following the hike. There are snowshoes available to borrow, however, there is a limited supply so participants are encouraged to bring their own. If there is no snow the event will be replaced with a hike.

Please Note: The Michigan Department of Natural Resources makes every effort to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information on the web calendar.
