The Tahquamenon Country Sled Dog Race features more than 60 teams from across the continent. Classes include four-dog, six-dog, eight-dog and 10-dog races. The races begin at 9:30 a.m. with a new team taking off every few minutes. Come out to pet the dogs, meet the teams and cheer them on during this all-day event! Activities include a bonfire and refreshments as well as food and merchandise concessions. Volunteers are needed to assist at the start/finish line, checkpoints, road crossings, concession and awards banquet. Email info@tcsdr.org to volunteer.
