Join us for the harvest and haunting at South Higgins Lake State Park. Enjoy a pumpkin painting contest, hay rides, face painting, a costume and pet costume contest and parade, trick or treating in the campground, a lot decorating contest, a teen dance, crafts for the kids and our famous spooky walk held Friday and Saturday night.
The Park Store will have activities throughout the day on Saturday. Please come and join the fun! Friday is open to the public and you must have a recreation passport to enter. Saturday's events are for campers only! Please remember if your child is entering the pumpkin painting contest, please bring your own pumpkins. The Park Store will have a Farmers Market with pumpkins for sale. Crafts will be provided for the children. If you would like to participate in trick or treating, please bring lots of candy.
All activities are located in a big tent in the center of the campground by the ball diamond. Get your favorite site to decorate! Make your reservations early.
