This popular folktale has been told in many ways in many cultures, but not quite like this! Wayne State University's Summer Children's Theatre uses the language of urban America, featuring hip hop and rap, to retell this story of a stranger bringing together a community using some vegetables, a stone, and more than just a bit of craftiness. Tickets are $5 for children (ages 5-12) and $8 for adults. June 19-21 and June 26-29. For show times and ticket information, visit the website link.
