Visitors will learn how to kayak and have a chance to test different kayak styles as they learn about the importance of water ways in early American History. Visitors participating on the Huron River will also get to participate in the first public tours of the 200 year-old Historic Hulls Trace! The Art of Kayaking on the Huron River will begin at the Hulls Road boat launch at the mouth of the Huron River (Jefferson Avenue) in Brownstown Township, Michigan. Previous experience kayaking is not required. There is no fee, but reservations are required. There is a limit of 30 people for each site, so make your reservation early!
