Grand Rapids Symphony commemoration of the Symphony Chorus’s 50th season begins with the presentation of an acclaimed, large-scale Holocaust memorial oratorio. Also on the program: Mendelssohn’s fifth symphony that recalls the Protestant Reformation and includes Martin Luther’s chorale, A Mighty Fortress is our God. Performance at 8pm.
