Start your summer with the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix as it returns to the Motor City with three days of world-class auto racing, live music, interactive games and displays on beautiful Belle Isle Park, May 30-June 1.
The 2014 Grand Prix will again feature an IndyCar Series doubleheader race weekend - The Chevrolet Indy Dual in Detroit presented Quicken Loans. This summer, the new unified sports car series debuts on Belle Isle - the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship with the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic presented by the Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers. The Pirelli World Challenge Series returns to Belle Isle in 2014 with the Cadillac V-Series Challenge presented by the Metro Detroit Cadillac Dealers doubleheader races. New this year, the high-flying trucks of the SPEED Energy Stadium SUPER Truck Series will add even more excitement as they will race twice on the Belle Isle street circuit.
With seven different races over the course of three days, the Grand Prix will be one of the most exciting and action-packed events in Detroit throughout the summer. Fans will also get a chance to meet and get autographs from some of the world’s fastest drivers and most engaging personalities.
Even if you're not a race fan, there will be plenty to experience and enjoy at the Grand Prix. The MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage will feature live entertainment all weekend. Also, the Meijer Fan Zone has something for fans of all ages to enjoy, including appearances by some of Detroit's top sports stars, extreme sports demonstrations, kids games and more. Belle Isle Park is also home to the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, the botanical garden in the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory and the oldest public aquarium in the United States.

While you’re in town for the weekend, take some time to explore Detroit, the city that put the world on wheels. Stop in at the Detroit Institute of Arts or walk the Detroit International Riverfront. Just up the road at The Henry Ford automotive enthusiasts can discover America’s premier automobile exhibit Driving America, or the manufacturing experience of the Ford Rouge Factory Tour.
