There are 14 highway Welcome Centers that stand ready to welcome you to Michigan, including the new Detroit Welcome Center which opened in August 2008. The knowledgeable staff at these centers have been members of the hospitality industry for a long time, and are ready to answer your Michigan travel questions. Pick up many of the Michigan travel brochures, maps and guidebooks at the Welcome Centers, or let the travel counselors share their knowledge about Michigan's diverse travel offerings.
