LaughFest is a festival of comedy, performance and very funny stuff. Spanning 10 days, LaughFest is jam packed with A-List comedy acts, clean comedy showcases for the whole family, improv and sketch comedy acts and stand up competitions. The best part? The vast majority of the events and shows are free.
Headlining acts this year include Joel McHale, Garfunkel and Oates, Bill Burr, Jim Breuer, Wayne Brady, Lewis Black, Justin Willman, Loni Love, and a live Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick, Jonah Ray and Matt Mira. For those with a competitive streak, be sure and catch the Best of the Midwest Competition with some of the hottest Midwest comedians competing for a $2,500 cash prize.
Hear firsthand from two of this year's performers - Justin Willman, host of Food Network's Cupcake Wars and Last Cake Standing and comedian Stu McCallister - along with Dylan Gadino, founder and editor of Laughspin.com about what makes LaughFest a can't miss event.
Or help set a Guinness World Record on the opening night of LaughFest. This year LaughFest will attempt to break the record for the largest gathering of people who are wearing false mustaches. The record to beat is 648 and participants will be provided with an official LaughFest mustache.
