Auto Museums

If it’s August, it has to be Autopalooza Month in Michigan. If you love cars, you auto love all the events planned to celebrate Michigan’s automotive heritage. August events include the August 7 Clinton Township Gratiot Cruise; Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race during race weekend (August 19-21) at Michigan International Speedway; Back to the Bricks Cruise Weekend (August 16-20) in Flint; and the Woodward Dream Cruise, which revs up on August 20.

Car enthusiasts, history buffs and anyone interested in the impact that the automobile has had on daily life will find plenty to explore across the state, from museums to classic car cruises and shows that honor the automotive contributions that are Pure Michigan.
