Michigan Wine Month

April is Wine Month in Michigan, and there’s plenty to celebrate as warmth and greenery return to the vineyards. The Great Lake State’s vintners produce award-winning wine as well as memorable experiences enjoying the fruit of the vine at scenic spots in both the Lower and Upper Peninsulas. The beauty of the rolling hills, sunsets over Lake Michigan, inland lakes, harbor towns, art communities and two-lane country roads invite exploration. Visiting tasting rooms, taking winery and vineyard tours, sharing dinners with the winemakers, attending wine festivals and harvest celebrations, participating in winemaking classes, and enjoying overnight wine-themed lodging packages are all ways to sip and savor a taste of Pure Michigan.
