Here’s a perfectly delicious idea for summer: treat yourself to amazing meals made with fresh, local ingredients – for a price that can’t be beat!
That’s the idea behind Restaurant Week Grand Rapids. Expanded to 12 days for 2014 (August 13-24), Restaurant Week serves up creative dishes from the area’s finest chefs, all at an incredible bargain: $28 for a three-course meal.
More than 60 area restaurants are participating this year, representing a wide range of cuisines and dining experiences. Restaurant Week is held during the height of the summer harvest season so chefs can utilize the pick of the crop from surrounding family farms, ensuring the freshest, most flavorful sensations for your palate.
The theme for 2014 is “Perfect Pairings.” Chefs will suggest coffees, beers, wines and sprits – many locally produced – that will complement each menu item. You’ll experience a whole new dimension of flavor, as food and drink come together in delectable harmony.
This is a perfect opportunity to explore Grand Rapids’ farm-to-fork dining scene, learn why the city earned the title Beer City U.S.A., sample the goods from new area cideries and distilleries, and have a great time with good friends.
You can find all the participating restaurants and their Restaurant Week menus listed online. Browse the choices and make your reservations soon – this is an incredibly popular event and space is limited.
