Towering over the south end of the island, the lighthouse offers views of Lake Michigan. Climb the winding tower staircase to enjoy stunning vistas.

Beaver Island Bike Festival, June 21
Take in the natural beauty of the remote island when bicyclists ride the trails and stop for McDonough Markets lunch on the beach. Take in all the pre-ride festivities with dinner at Beaver Island Lodge on Thursday and a beach party on Friday night. Stay after the ride for Saturday nights celebration at the Shamrock.

Beaver Island Golf Course
This 9-hole, Par-35 public course also has a driving range and cart rentals available, on the east side of Beaver Island.

Beaver Island Music Festival, July 1719
A variety of musical acts perform outdoors, letting concertgoers enjoy the scenery as music washes over the island during the three-day music festival.

Located just outside of town, Circle M provides rides to and from town to the restaurant. A full dinner menu with scalloped risotto and blackened trout sandwich waits for diners (231/448-2513). 

Daddy Franks
Head to the harbor from May to September for fast food favorites, hearty breakfasts and Friday night fish fries. Ice cream in homemade waffle cones tastes perfect in the summertime (231/448-2570). 

Harbour Market
Get your caffeine fix and get connected at the islands internet cafe. Enjoy coffee drinks, pastries, paninis and pizza with from-scratch dough and sauce.

Paradise Bay Coffee Shop
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, barista-made espresso drinks are available with breakfast and lunch, while Thursday mornings feature a farmers market. The shop also sells convenience-store items.

The Restaurant at Beaver Island Lodge
Grab a table on the patio to enjoy full views of the sunset over Lake Michigan while savoring entrees like Porcini-crusted whitefish or Lobster Pappardelle and a glass of wine.
