Built in the early sixties as a corporate retreat for New Era Potato Chips, Birchwood Inn has been carefully preserved by the Innkeeper with the lodge aura intended by the builders. We welcome individual travelers and group gatherings alike. The Inn is perfect for family reunions, destination weddings, seminars, and of course corporate retreats. The philosophy of the original builder, comfortable surroundings fosters friendships, is deeply held by the Innkeeper of today.
There are many things to see and do in our neck of the woods, like exploring local beaches for Petoskey Stones, visiting resort communities including Mackinaw, playing a round of golf, or going on a guided kayak adventure.
The best part however, is returning to the comfort of Birchwood Inn. Take some time to lounge by the pool in summer or sit in front of a roaring fire in winter.
