Owned and operated by the Tonon family since 1976, Café Cortina is more than just a restaurant – it is a gathering place for special, meaningful celebrations – a place to break bread, build relationships and embrace the true meaning of hospitality. Located in an Italian countryside-vineyard-like setting in Farmington Hills, this is one of the country’s original farm-to-table eateries. From the beginning, Café Cortina has looked in its own backyard for culinary inspiration, while at the same time paying homage to its Italian roots. An on-premise garden supplies 70 percent of the needed summer produce, including herbs, heirloom tomatoes and a variety of greens, which make up the seasonally-influenced menu. Considered one of the Metro Detroit’s “best kept secrets” Café Cortina offers an extensive wine list and impressive menu. Elegant indoor spaces and an expansive tree-covered patio (seasonal) provide a romantic dining experience for couples and weddings, as well as catering to groups and other special events. Café Cortina is also the producer of an exclusive line of homemade pasta sauces, available at select retail outlets throughout Michigan. Reservations recommended.
