Children’Children's Museums are cultural institutions committed to serving the needs and interests of children by providing exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity and motivate learning. Allegan County is spread out across 1,833 sq miles of rural agricultural farmland and waterways. Due to the unique demographics of Allegan County it is our vision to provide a centrally located museum (Allegan) in addition to our lake shore location (Fennville). These two rural locations will provide our area families and schools with the same early-on educational experiences that urban residents have access to on a daily basis. There are approximately 350 children’children's museums around the world. Only 10% of all children’children's museums worldwide are located in rural communities, making Allegan County a unique and rare gem. Here are highlights on how children’children's museums positively impact children, families and communities. Fall and Winter hours Thursday - Saturday, 10am to 3 pm. Spring and Summer hours Wednesday - Saturday, 10 am to 3 pm. Closed Sunday - Tuesday and Major Holidays. Look for our new location in Allegan, coming soon.
