Garland's newest 18 hole championship layout features water on 9 of the holes and is highlighted by spectacular water fountains throughout the course. Completed in 1999, it measures 6,760 yards from the back tees and has six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s. The finishing hole of each 9 is a par 3. Driving between the first and second holes provides a memorable Michigan golf memory because you will cross the longest single span bridge in the world. The 7th hole is one of the most challenging, it is not only long, but the green is guarded by water and strategically placed sand traps. The 18th hole finishes with lots of character, the putting surface is rather flat, but the back half slopes toward the front. Par is a good score.
