The LACA is a community arts organization and facility serving Ludington and Mason County, that cultivates regional arts, including: Music, Visual Arts, Performance/Dance, and Literary Arts.
The Ludington Area Center for the Arts invites you to be part of our vibrant arts community on the shore of Lake Michigan. Join us at a piano concert, a film screening, or a reading by one of Michigan’s premier poets. Enjoy an exhibition of fine art in our gallery or sign up for a writing workshop. Since its opening in 2008, the Center has hosted exhibitions, performances, and educational programs in music, the visual arts, literature, and more. The Center includes a 250-seat performance hall, banquet hall, gallery and exhibition spaces, art studios, classrooms, and a gift shop offering the works of local and regional artists.
Come discover the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, where artists of every medium enrich our community and inspire the creative spirit in us all. Our Mission: The Ludington Area Center for the Arts was formed to sponsor, promote, and encourage participation in and appreciation of arts and culture for the benefit of everyone who lives in the Ludington area. The Ludington Area Arts Council (LAAC) was formed in February of 2004, and gained its tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) status on April 14th, 2004.
