Miller's Marsh Nature Preserve

230 acres. A combination of open shallow water, sedge, sphagnum mats and mature second-growth beech-maple forest; Miller's Marsh is the largest and most diverse marsh found on Beaver Island. There is a 1-mile trail with interpretive brochures available. This area also marks the southern end of Beaver Island's Doty's Camp Trail. Parking area is on West Side Drive approximately 5 miles south of Beaver Island Airport.
