Paddling Michigan Web Site
Kayaking along the shoreline at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is an experience that you will not want to miss if you have the opportunity. This is arguably the most beautiful shoreline in the United States.
Crystal clear water in the largest freshwater lake in the world. Sandstone cliffs of beautiful reddish and orange hues rise vertically out of the shoreline nearly 200 ft. Ride the swells as you can hear the waves crashing into these rocks carving beautiful caves, arches, and natural carvings that the early explorers of this region used for landmarks over 200 years ago. Waterfalls abound along these cliffs as well.
Paddling Michigan is a dba of Uncle Ducky Outdoors, LLC offering several different kayaking tours along the Pictured Rocks, Grand Island, and the Hiawatha Water Trail which is the area from Big Bay to Grand Marais including Marquette. We also offer paddling tours to Isle Royale.
At the Pictured Rocks we offer an 4 hour "Afternoon Delight" tour, a daily 6-7 hour tour, a Paddle and Hiking tour, and several multi day tours that are all inclusive of kayaks, camping gear, and meals.
We invite to please click through to our web site for a more definitive explanation of these trips and all that they include.
Paddlers of all levels go with us daily. Also, we can accommodate all ages as well. All kayaks and equipment is included on our tours
