The museum features 8,000 years of history and culture with a sound system that tells stories about the past. Experience the area's history from the river's glacial origin, through Native American settlement, French fur trade, British and American expansion, to the present day. Gift shop and free parking.
Open 6 days a week, June-September each year. Off season admission by appointment only.

History of Aquatic Proportions !!
We love going to museums and this one did not let us down. Our guide gave us all the answers to questions we had about the area and the river/lake area and the ships that pass through the locks...
