Sparks Foundation County Park also known as Cascades County Park

This park is home to the world famous Cascades, a man-made illuminated waterfall. It's 18 hole golf course hosts the Michigan Amateur and U.S.G.A. Amateur Qualifiers annually. In addition to the Cascades 18-hole Championship Golf Course and the Cascades Short Course, there is also a basketball court, baseball and softball fields, playground areas and a popular walking path. A pond in the park features a pier for fishing and is accessible by wheelchair. One of the most popular sledding hills in Jackson is formed by The Cascades. The Cascades waterfall runs Memorial Day to Labor Day. Cascades Park open daily. Cascades Ice Cream Co. on-site is open seasonally with convenient drive through service.
