The Ida Jean (named after my Mother) was built in 1873. This Italiana design was the creation of an ancestor who came here from Ireland. In the many years, changes have been made, but always keeping the large rooms and old world charm. Over time bathrooms have been added and modern features as well. In my renovation experience with the home, I have found that the house was remodeled every 30 years to bring in the many features of the era. The new and improved wiring of the early 1900's to the modern plumbing of the 1930's. In the 1970's my father upgraded, and now my turn has come. Much of the old world charm still exists and have been placed back in my home. There currently are four (4) themed bedrooms to choose from, each with amenities such as private baths, tv/vcr, a/c, and queen size beds.
