1905 farmhouse on a peaceful 50 acre llama farm grand country estate. There are five guest rooms, three with private bathrooms. Groomed wooded trails and beautiful gardens. A visit to Tara is not complete without a stroll to the llama fields. There you will find approximately 20 llamas grazing on 10 fenced acres. If you have the good fortune to be visiting in the spring or fall you may even encounter a newborn "cria". If you are visiting to learn more about these beautiful creatures, you can get a free introductory class in llama care. Llamas, wool, handspun yarn and hand-made llama wool items are also available for sale in our gift shop. Quiet setting within easy driving distance to MSU, charming Williamston and the State Capitol. English breakfast. Nearby theater, antique shops, golf, shopping and fine dining.
