William Richards House B&B

William Richards House B&B

The William Richards B&B was formerly the mansion and home of the only governor from the U.P. Chase Salmon Osborn. Gov. Osborn was probably the most important person to ever settle in Sault Ste. Marie Mi. The seven thousand square foot home has just had a two year upgrade. There are five bedrooms, all either king or queen. There are four of the original claw foot tubs in the home along with six original fireplaces, fourteen chandeliers, custom made area rugs, a state of the art kitchen with double everything for your buffet breakfast. Our breakfast is probably the best in the Sault. Our grand room has an eight foot projection theater system and a extensive DVD library. A professional staff is on duty all the time to make sure your stay with us is something to remember. Sorry no pets or unruly children. Included is breakfast, snacks, an ever full coffee or tea pot, movies wifi, stereo in every room, TV, and a lot more. All you need is your bathrobe and slippers. We are located only five minutes from everything the Soo has to offer. Fishing, boating, casino, Soo Locks, the Tower of History, Museum Ship, street fairs, shopping, city park swimming, camping, two blocks to ship watching, the Sugar Island ferry, and a whole lot more.
