Located track side at a 120 year old railroad freighthouse in the historic depot town of Ypsilanti, the farmer's market offers a cornucopia of crafts, and entertainment on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Cheese, meat, produce, flowers and baked goods are available year round. During the growing season, local farmers bring their fresh fruits, vegetables and other products to the market. Winter visitors can warm themselves with a cup of coffee alongside a potbellied stove. Children's activities are also featured. The freighthouse also serves as a community rental facility.
