The contemporary design of the Two Lads winery and tasting room is unique among Michigan wineries, capturing the fresh perspective and boldness of the wines produced there. The building features simple lines and broad expanses of glass accented by corrugated steel, stone and concrete. A poured concrete serving counter is positioned so visitors can enjoy the commanding view of the East Bay while tasting 2 Lads wine. Bold accent colors convey vitality while natural wood details provide warmth and a connection to the surrounding vineyards. 2 Lads specializes in full-bodied, new world style red wines with sparking and white wines to round out the offerings. Our May - October hours are Monday - Saturday, 11am - 6pm, Sunday 11am - 5pm; our November - April hours are Monday - Saturday 11am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm.

Situated on 80 acres on Old Mission Peninsula with breathtaking views of the East Grand Traverse Bay, Brys Estate, a boutique winery began with the planting of 32 acres of European vinifera grapes in 2001. The vineyard consists of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Brys Estate wines are fully estate grown and bottled. Using the highest quality standards, we hand pick our grapes and handcraft our single vineyard, small batch wines. Attention is given to every detail as we crush, ferment, age and bottle our wines. We have won over 220 medals in International and local wine competitions since opening in 2005, including three medals in the esteemed 2010 International Wine & Spirits Competition in London, as well as the 2009 Hardings Cup for the best Cab Franc in Michigan and the 2006 Wine Literary Award in San Francisco for "Best New Red Wine Discovery" for our 2005 Cabernet Franc. Visitors will delight in a pure Michigan experience as they wind their way past the 1890's renovated farmhouse, barn turned into a storybook guest cottage, lush gardens and vineyards as they make their way to the state-of-the-art winery. Visit our unique old-world brick and mahogany tasting room that offers views into our vaulted International barrel and cask rooms, where our red wines are aged in traditional French oak barrels.

Owned and operated by the O’Keefe family, this pioneering winery is internationally known for producing outstanding Rieslings of consistent high quality and value. A family owned winery producing regionally expressive wines. Varieties include Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. Peninsula Cellars also produces apple and cherry wines. All wines are made from locally grown fruit, with over 90% of the fruit grown on the Old Mission Peninsula.

Hawthorne Vineyards is a pristine vineyard and tasting room destination just four miles from Traverse City on Old Mission Peninsula. The 80 acre site is nestled into a ridge above Peninsula Drive with postcard views of East and West Grand Traverse Bays. Hand crafted wines are created from the vineyard’s acreage of Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Lemberger, Gamay, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Riesling. Surrounding traffic and disruptions vanish as guests make their way up the winding private drive to the most peaceful and serene vineyard destination on Old Mission. Open seasonally, May-October.

Black Star Farms Old Mission, sits just off scenic M-37 among the rolling hills and gorgeous views of East Grand Traverse Bay. The former home of locally renown Underwood Farm market now houses a beautiful tasting room and state of the art wine making and distilling facility. The tasting room boasts a round bar constructed from wine barrels, a cozy fireplace, and a knowledgeable and friendly staff. You can taste many of our award-winning wines and brandies, all of which express the regional nature of northwest Michigan. Black Star Farms Old Mission is an extension of Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay. The tasting room is open May to November: Mon. – Sat. 10-6; Sun. 11-5. November to April: Mon. – Sun. 11 – 5.
