This concert features tenor soloist Daniel Okereke, a Calvin University student
and Choral Worship Music Intern at Trinity. He will be joined by several of his
college choral friends and a string quartet of local symphony musicians.
Featuring music centered on the deeply human themes of love and friendship,
Amore e Amicizia presents a curated program of classical works and popular
crossover pieces, including opera and art songs. Repertoire includes favorites
such as Time to Say Goodbye, Belle nuit, ô nuit damour from Jacques
Offenbachs opera The Tales of Hoffmann, and an excerpt from La Bohème by
Giacomo Puccini.
More than a performance, this concert seeks to showcase the artistry, beauty,
and musical gifts God has richly blessed the Calvin Community with and shared
at Trinity through gifted choral interns.
